UAS Ground School
Overview:
The UAS Ground School provides the essential academic foundation for all UAS operators. This course introduces core aviation principles, systems knowledge, and mission fundamentals to enable safe, effective, and compliant UAS operations. It is the launchpad for future pilots, sensor operators, and mission commanders.
Aim:
To develop foundational understanding in UAS operations, airspace management, regulations, system components, and mission planning to prepare students for live and simulated flight.

Understand UAS classifications, components, and systems
Apply principles of flight and navigation
Interpret meteorological data and NOTAMs
Understand UAS airspace integration and legal considerations
